TalarMade Trio 3/4 Length Orthotics are designed to resist excessive valgus rotation by positioning the heel bone within the heel cup. They support the inner arch and provide navicular stability, while a cushioned recess beneath the first ray helps the big toe joint extend during push-off.
Features
- Three-quarter-length orthotic design.
- Heel cup designed to invert the heel bone, helping maintain midfoot joint integrity and avoid damaging compensations.
- Support for the proximal medial arch of the foot.
- Cushioned first-ray recess to allow movement at the first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint during propulsion.
- Choice of medium density in blue or firm density in red.
- Supplied as a pair with medial and lateral forefoot posts for additional control.
- Can be heat-moulded on the underside of the device to provide a custom fit.
- Compatible with orthotic additions and wedges where extra control is required.
Suitable For
- First MTP joint pain.
- Metatarsalgia, including Morton's neuroma.
- Plantar fasciitis and plantar heel pain.
- Tibialis posterior tendonitis.
- Posterior heel pain, including Achilles tendonosis.
- Medial tibial stress syndrome and calf strain.
- Antero-medial knee pain and runner's knee.
- Hip instability and low back pain.
Usage Notes
For an inverted varus forefoot position, the medial forefoot post can replace the polyurethane foam infill beneath the first MTP joint. Alternatively, the lateral forefoot post can be used where necessary to encourage push-off through the big toe. Only one forefoot post should be used on each orthotic.
If symptoms do not respond, an additional biplanar rearfoot post can be applied to the marked area on the underside of the orthotic to increase subtalar joint control.
