TFCC Wrist Orthosis with Dial-adjust Straps

The Mediroyal TFCC Wrist Orthosis provides adjustable wrist support for patients requiring control of forearm rotation and stabilisation around the TFCC. Three elastic straps and an integrated Boa system allow support to be adjusted to individual needs.

Features

• Numbered straps guide application. Apply the centre strap with the Boa system first to support and compress the radius and ulna for rotation control.
• The second strap sits over the TFCC ligament area to stabilise the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) and radiocarpal joint (RCJ).
• The third strap sits near the proximal edge of the orthosis to maximise the lever arm.
• Boa adjustment provides individually adjustable support over the ulnar side.
• Three integrated proximal and dorsal friction surfaces provide biofeedback during rotation and loading to help improve joint position sense.
• A wide volar metal splint can be adjusted individually; two flexible dorsal metal splints provide support in dorsal extension.
• A rounded proximal section avoids interfering with elbow flexion.
